Popular Kannada movie star, Puneeth Rajkumar, died on October 29, , after suffering a cardiac arrest. The year-old star was rushed to Vikram hospital in east Bengaluru after complaining of chest pain while working out in a gym. He was the son of Kannada cinema legend, Dr. Rajkumar. A National Film Award winner for best child artist, he was an actor, anchor, producer and playback singer. He was also the founder and owner of PRK Audio.
In an interview, Rajkumar had revealed that as he was very busy planning every piece for his home, he, therefore, asked Godrej Interio to help him. According to his requirements, all the design elements and the choice of place was decided. Rajkumar and his wife Ashwini and two daughters Drithi and Vanditha, shifted to their new house in Sadashiva Nagara, Armane Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
