WKRC-TV's longest-tenured news anchor says she's both sad and anxious to leave Channel 12 after newscasts on July
She was Channel 12's main co-anchor for 19 years, before moving to the noon, 4 p.m. and p.m. newscasts in when Cammy Dierking was promoted to be Rob Braun's main evening co-anchor.
Andrews came here in April from a TV station in Spokane, Washington, and soon anchored "Good Morning Cincinnati."
Andrews sent this message to Channel 12 coworkers today: "It's time! After one network change, five different newscasts, seven owners, and more than 33 years I'm hanging up my microphone and leaving WKRC TV. I am both sad to leave such a wonderful group of friends and co-workers and anxious to see what opportunities may await outside of television news"
