    Charles E. Connor, 92, of Darlington, formerly of Chippewa Township and New Kensington, died Monday, July 30, , in the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Beaver Township.

    Born March 28, , in Braeburn, Pa., he was a son of the late Thomas and Nancy McClinton Connor. He was a member of the Chippewa United Methodist Church and had been a volunteer fireman and was a former assistant chief with the Chippewa Volunteer Fire Dept. He began his career in at the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company, where he was a melt shop foreman at the Wallace Run Steel Mill Dept. retiring in He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had belonged to the West Mayfield Beagle Club and had a hunting camp with his brothers near Renovo, Clinton County, for many years. He was also an avid gardener.
